What is an Agroecological European Peasant University? What does it actually take to create a Université Paysanne that trains farmers, breathes new life into the agricultural sector, transmits both practical skills and holistic knowledge, and addresses the political crisis that agriculture faces today?

Being a city girl my daily thought goes to the land and the farmers who feed me. More meaningful questions around food sovereignty, access to land and social-ecological justice is what drives the RURAL RESILIENCE project. I am glad to be part of the rural gathering from Nov 27-30, 2025 in Plessé, France.
RURAL RESILIENCE GATHERING
ARC2020 and the hosts say:
This is not a conference. It is not just a networking event. It is a moment to listen and to speak, to learn and to unlearn, to disagree and still remain in common purpose. We will weave stories, share tools, break bread, and write —together— the pages of a story. A future for rural Europe is being shaped. Let’s make sure we are the ones shaping it.
